Dinh Phu Vinh is the area commune's community center that serves as a house of worship, a craft center, and a tourist attraction.
The communal house was reportedly built around 1900 for the purpose of worshipping "Ban Canh Thanh Hoang, Tien sien, Binh Tay Gerneral Trinh Phong..."
In the courtyard in front of the house a couple pairs of women demonstrate traditional Vietnamese weaving of mats which were for sale.
Inside the center is a collection of historical and religious relics and pieces of art.
The experience was interesting because it illustrated how the Vietnamese culture now handles the combination of religion, politics, and toursim.
